Delores Powell brought her family over from Jamaica to give them a better life. Working hard to save money and make ends meet, Delores was able to secure a six-bedroom house. The dream house turned out to be a total nightmare when she found out it was on the city's demolition list.
Her only hope is to bring the house up to code. Know anyone who can help? The Creasey Family. Tricia Creasey doesn't let anything stop her from teaching, not even cancer. Her husband, William, tells us that even if she's severely sick, she will still go in the next day to teach her 7th grade class.
Due to the financial circumstances, the Creasey home repairs have taken a backseat to Tricia's chemotherapy. But the house needs a makeover ASAP! Tripp Family. Tripp and Tamara were college sweethearts who went on to have three beautiful children. They wanted to make a difference in their community, and they offer hot meals to kids whenever they need it.
Their home has been open to 25 kids at once, which has taken a toll. The Wagstaff Family. Tobin and Jill Wagstaff first met in a college band where their hearts would beat faster than any drum major ever could.
This loving couple married and grew to a family of six. Their love of music inspired them to start a non-profit music school. Unfortunately, the Wagstaffs are at a point where they can't continue with the studio and are unable live in a house that needs serious work.
