Topics for these Youth Learning Webinars included film editing tips and tricks using Adobe Premiere, how to navigate Adobe Photoshop, learning about different mediums for creating short animated films, the power of rap in bridging the gap between Education and urban culture, exploring social change through the use of digital media, and many more.
Furthermore, 41 monetary Adobe Creativity Grants were distributed to several creative youth organizations from 10 countries. The Innovation Grant allowed these organizations to expand their mission and to continue to drive opportunities that ensure equitable access to creative education for a more inclusive and diverse creative field. And 20 organizations received a Hardware Grant, which allowed them to access equipment, such as laptops, cameras, drones, etc, for expanding their current digital media programming.
During the global pandemic, recipients of these donated licensees were provided with resources to support the facilitation of virtual creative programming for their young creatives.
Between and , over 16, shared device licenses were distributed which directly reached 58, young creatives. These grants allowed creative youth organizations to build upon their existing programming to drive opportunities that ensure equitable access to creative education for a more inclusive and diverse creative field. These creative youth organizations implemented new creative community projects, extended on intensive summer mentorship programs, conducted collaborative projects between countries; invited industry experts for staff members professional development training;, and expanded the capacity and reach of a current digital media program.
Grants for Arts Projects grants support artistically excellent projects that celebrate our creativity and cultural heritage, invite mutual respect for differing beliefs and values, and enrich humanity. Support for projects that extend the reach of the arts to underserved populations. The Arts Endowment will competitively award Rescue Plan funds to eligible organizations nationwide.
